Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it — in plain language, without the lawyer-speak.

Who we are
TickerLab is operated by Vitalify, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "TickerLab," it means Vitalify, LLC. Our site is tickerlab.com. You can reach us at privacy@tickerlab.com for any privacy question, request, or complaint.
What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Email address, when you subscribe to the morning email or create an account.
- Google account basics (email, name, profile picture), if you choose "Sign in with Google." We request only the standard
email, profile, andopenidscopes. We do not read your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service. - Anything you type into a form on the site — for example, a ticker symbol you search or a message you send us.
Information we collect automatically
- Basic usage analytics via Metricool. This measures page views, session behavior, referrer, approximate location (derived from IP), browser type, screen size, and device type. Metricool may set a first-party cookie to distinguish new versus returning visitors and to attribute traffic sources. It is not used for advertising and does not build a cross-site profile of you. You can block it by using your browser's tracker-blocking features or a content blocker.
- Authentication cookies, if you sign in. These are strictly-necessary cookies that keep you logged in — they are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
Information we do not collect
- We do not run ads, so we do not use ad-targeting cookies or trackers.
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We do not have access to your brokerage, bank, or credit-card details. We never ask for them.
How we use what we collect
- To run the site — deliver pages, authenticate you, remember your preferences.
- To send the morning email, if you asked us to. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.
- To improve TickerLab — understanding which pages are useful and where users get stuck.
- To detect abuse — blocking scrapers, spam signups, and other bad behavior.
- To process payments, if and when you buy a paid tier (see next section).
Third parties we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — stores your account and authentication session.
- Loops.so — sends the morning email newsletter. Only your email address is shared.
- Metricool — receives the page-view analytics described above. See their privacy policy.
- Netlify — hosts the website and serves the pages you see.
- Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google," Google handles authentication and shares your email, name, and profile picture with us.
- Stripe or Paddle (when paid tiers launch) — processes payments. They handle your card details directly. We only receive a transaction record (amount, date, plan) — never your full card number.
- We may add additional privacy-first analytics providers in the future; this policy will be updated if we do.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Ever.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can email us at privacy@tickerlab.com to:
- See what information we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your account and everything tied to it
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of the newsletter (or use the one-click unsubscribe link in any email)
We respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for these requests or discriminate against you for making them.
If you are in the European Union or UK (GDPR)
You have the additional right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is either (a) your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, or (b) our legitimate interest in operating the site and serving you the product you signed up for.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we have, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of it. We do not sell or share your personal information under the CCPA's definition — but you can still submit any of these requests to privacy@tickerlab.com.
How long we keep your data
- Account data — kept as long as your account exists. Deleted within 30 days of you closing the account.
- Newsletter email — kept as long as you're subscribed. Removed within 7 days of you unsubscribing.
- Server logs — up to 30 days.
- Payment records — kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage for personal data, and access controls limiting who can view your data (essentially: the founder and the automated systems that process it). No system is bulletproof, but we take security seriously and will notify you if a breach affects your data.
Children
TickerLab is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email privacy@tickerlab.com and we will delete it.
International users
TickerLab is operated from the United States. If you use the site from outside the U.S., you understand that your data may be processed and stored in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your home country.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will note them at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you by email. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
