Terms of Service
The ground rules for using TickerLab. Written to be readable — but yes, still binding.
Last updated: September 9, 2026
Who these terms are between
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Vitalify, LLC, a Florida limited liability company that operates TickerLab at tickerlab.com. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
If you're using TickerLab on behalf of a company or other entity, you're representing that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Who can use TickerLab
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use TickerLab. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement.
What TickerLab is (and is not)
TickerLab is: a research and educational tool. We scan a defined universe of U.S.-listed tickers and cryptocurrencies, apply a fixed set of technical rules (documented on our methodology page), and publish the results. We also publish written commentary, curated ideas, and a morning email.
TickerLab is NOT:
- A registered investment adviser (RIA), broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor
- Personalized financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice
- A recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy or sell any security or cryptocurrency
- A guarantee that any signal, pattern, or idea we publish will be profitable
- A trading platform or brokerage — we do not execute trades
Everything on the site is for your independent research and personal decision-making. You should consult a licensed financial adviser before making any investment decision.
No investment advice — investment risks
Technical signals reflect past price and volume patterns. Past performance does not guarantee, and is not indicative of, future results. Markets change; patterns fail; historically reliable signals can and do produce losses. In particular:
- Individual securities can lose 100% of their value.
- Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile and can lose value quickly and without warning.
- Options and other derivatives carry additional risks including total loss of principal in short timeframes.
- Analyst price targets, consensus estimates, and third-party data we display are opinions or estimates from other sources, not our own predictions, and may be wrong.
You alone are responsible for evaluating the risks of any investment and for any decisions you make. You should never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
Your account
You may need an account to access certain features. When you create one:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- You must notify us at privacy@tickerlab.com promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the site, harass other users, or attempt to defraud us or our providers.
Acceptable use
When using TickerLab, you agree not to:
- Republish, resell, or commercially redistribute our scan data, signals, or written content without our written permission.
- Scrape, spider, or bulk-download the site beyond normal individual use. Automated access is only permitted through interfaces we explicitly designate as public APIs.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our scanning engine or backend.
- Use TickerLab to build a competing product.
- Upload or transmit anything that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing on someone else's rights.
- Interfere with the operation of the site, including probing for vulnerabilities without authorization, submitting malicious payloads, or overwhelming our infrastructure.
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Paid subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. When you subscribe:
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe or Paddle). Your card details are collected and stored by them, not by us. Their terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction in addition to ours.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges — you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds: paid periods are generally non-refundable, but we will consider refund requests case-by-case if you email us within 14 days of a charge and haven't materially used the paid features. Nothing in this section limits any refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.
- Prices may change; we will notify you before any change affects your next renewal.
Intellectual property
The TickerLab website, the "TickerLab" name and logo, our scanning engine, our written commentary, our methodology, and the way we present our data are all the property of Vitalify, LLC and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use TickerLab for your own individual research purposes, subject to these Terms.
Third-party data displayed on the site (analyst estimates, SEC filings, price data, news headlines, etc.) belongs to its respective owners. We display it under license or as public information, and your rights to it may be limited by the source's own terms.
User feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about TickerLab, we're free to use them without any obligation or payment to you. We appreciate the input.
Third-party links and services
TickerLab links to third-party sites (broker research pages, SEC filings, news sources, and others) and integrates with third-party services (Google Sign-In, Stripe/Paddle, Loops, Supabase, Netlify, our analytics provider). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of any third party. Your interactions with them are governed by their own agreements.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted access, or freedom from errors, defects, or harmful components.
We do not warrant that the data on the site is accurate, complete, current, or reliable, or that any signal, pattern, or scan will produce a profitable result. Data comes from third-party providers who may make errors, experience delays, or restate historical values. You use the site at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vitalify, LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost trading gains, lost data, loss of goodwill, or trading losses — arising out of or related to your use of TickerLab, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vitalify, LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of (a) your use or misuse of TickerLab, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual-property or privacy right.
Termination
You can stop using TickerLab at any time and can delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@tickerlab.com.
We can suspend or terminate your access at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, particularly if we believe you have violated these Terms or that your use poses a risk to us or to other users. The sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and general provisions) will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will note them at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email. Continued use of TickerLab after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the changes. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
General
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Vitalify, LLC about your use of TickerLab.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
