READING THE BOARD

Evidence first.
Interpretation second.

The week of October 5 edition was refreshed October 5 during the morning session. Daily technical evidence ends October 2, while social discovery was retrieved October 5 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Eastern. The five original themes and twenty names are retained so improved and weakened conditions are both visible.

What these labels mean

Dates and evidence boundaries

All twenty RSI series end October 2. MACD and ADX were captured with those responses on October 5, but the endpoint does not expose separate dates for those indicators. Their values are supplementary context, not proof that a new crossover fired. Inspect the dated evidence.

The scanner status was checked, but no current A–H signal ledger was validated for these twenty names. No old active flag is republished as a fresh signal. Untimestamped quote values are omitted; intraday prices and price targets are not part of this edition.

Social discovery is not bullish conviction

Reddit and X responses were captured October 5 using a three-day request window. Underlying provider observation timestamps are absent, so retrieval time is not presented as the time every mention occurred. Buzz is an attention score, not a directional forecast. Discovery record.

The wrapper weights Reddit and X 60/40 where both exist. When one is missing, the remaining source is renormalized. Coverage is disclosed per ticker; scores with different coverage are not perfectly comparable. A name outside the returned fifty-name set has no displayed score, and last week's score is never substituted. Wrapper provenance.

How to read the technicals

RSI uses a 14-session period; 50 is an editorial midpoint reference, not an optimized selection threshold. Above 70 can indicate extension without being an automatic sell. A positive MACD histogram is a state, not evidence of a newly fired crossover. ADX is non-directional, so the commentary checks positive and negative directional indices where relevant.

Events and news

COST, DRI, CCL, MU and NKE are all labeled Reported based on issuer releases in the news feed. Dates and status are linked to the relevant evidence, not inferred only because a calendar date passed. Earnings Watch includes post-report follow-through; it does not imply these events are upcoming. Event record.

Selected news context is supporting research, not an exhaustive adverse-news screen. Articles distinguish company announcements, reported developments and analyst opinions. No full articles, raw vendor feeds or unpublished subscriber information are redistributed.

What this edition does not claim

No modeled fair value, measured support, stop, technical target, reward-to-risk ratio, newly fired A–H signal or market-beating result is implied. This is assistant-prepared editorial research, not a completed multi-model council consensus. The September 23 and September 30 editions remain retained separately rather than being relabeled as current. Comparisons use the September 30 edition's captured values; a difference between two histogram snapshots does not establish the exact crossover date.
